The Idea Behind MeetMeAtTheHotel

Why it
exists.

The global music industry brings together artists, agencies, clubs, festivals, brands and innovators from around the world. While these communities regularly meet at events and performances, there are few environments specifically designed for meaningful industry interaction.

MeetMeAtTheHotel was created to provide such an environment — a place where professionals can meet, exchange ideas and develop collaborations within a hospitality-driven setting.

The concept is simple: concentrate the right people in one place, give them the right environment, and let the industry do what it does best.

Founded

MeetMeAtTheHotel launched its first edition in 2022. What began as a focused gathering of industry professionals has grown into an international platform with participants from over 45 countries.

Aitana Hotel.

Located at IJdok 6, right on the IJ waterfront, Room Mate Aitana Hotel is one of Amsterdam's most distinctive design hotels. During October week, it becomes the nerve centre of the global dance industry.

The hotel's architecture — from the Oscar Room's marina-view stage to the Aitana Lounge Bar — creates the perfect backdrop for the industry's most important conversations. The venue is not incidental to the platform. It is part of it.
